A spiritual home for all Orthodox Christians in West Michigan. We gather as one family in worship, fasting, and fellowship.

The Covenant of Mercy
Kidane Mehret (ኪዳነ ምሕረት) means “Covenant of Mercy”. It honors Christ’s promise to the Holy Virgin Mary: to forgive those who seek her intercession.
We celebrate this feast on the 16th of every Ethiopian month, primarily Yekatit 16 (Feb 23). Through Saint Mary’s prayers, the faithful find refuge and mercy.
As one of the world's oldest Christian churches, founded in 330 AD, we have preserved the ancient Ge’ez liturgy, sacred chants, and rich iconography for nearly two millennia.
We hold to the seven sacraments, veneration of saints, observance of the Sabbath, and rigorous fasting traditions that have defined our faith for centuries.
